About MEGA Materials, Inc.

In 2002, a local construction company lead by Patrick Pleasanton saw a need in the southern part of Cecil County, MD for a landscape material supplier.

Mr. Pleasanton’s business focused mainly on site work excavation and asphalt paving at the time, but felt the need to diversify and provide a need to the community. During his work in construction he realized the local availability for decorative stone, gravel, mulch, and screened topsoil did not exist without having to drive a considerable distance to get these basic items.

After finding an appropriate piece of land in Cecilton, Patrick began to set up with care an organized location that would allow the local community, as well as any who inquired, a place to find quality landscape materials. As with his other businesses, Patrick takes great care to make sure the smallest details are apparent to anyone who visits the yard.

The business has been serving the community for over 17 years now and continues to grow. We try to be a charitable member of our town while being a good neighbor as well. We strive to provide excellent customer service to all customers who come in to generously give us their business.

We will continue to grow in the future with the goal of satisfying each and every customer that comes to purchase material or merely browse our inventory.
